Frequently Asked Questions By Customers of Bottle Blow ...

Investing such a huge amount of money in a bottle blow molding machine is usually a commitment many people consider very dicey.

TEPAI supply professional and honest service.

For this reason, some customers go the extra mile to ask a few questions that seeks to give them a clearer understanding of what they are investing in.

With this, we can say that such questions is usually worth it, as it tends to unmask some myths and misconceptions a buyer may have about a particular bottle blow molding machine.

So, in case you also find yourself in similar situation, here are some frequently asked questions buy customers and their answers to guide you in making an informed decision in your investment.

1. How many bottles can your blowing equipment produce each hour?

The FG-4 has a capacity of BPH, the FG-6 has a capacity of BPH, and the FG-8 has a capacity of BPH.

This speed is based on a 500ml, 17gram round water bottle bottle. The speed of the machine is  directly by the volume and weight of the bottles.

2. What is the maximum bottle capacity that your blowing machine can produce?

Particularly, FG-4 and FG-6 are ideal for bottles ranging from 200ml to ml, while FG is suitable for bottles ranging from 200ml to 750ml.

3. Can your blowing machine blow any type of bottle neck?

Absolutely, the blowing machine can blow neck, neck, neck, neck, and 38 neck.

4. What is the blowing machine's installation power and actual power consumption?

The installation power of the FG-4 and FG-6 is 56 KW, and the actual power consumption is 23-25 KW per hour.

While the installation power of the FG-8 is 112 KW, and the actual power consumption is 46-50 KW/h.

5. Can you recommend an auxiliary machine for your blowing machine?

6m3/min, 30bar air compressor, and 2 sets of 5HP chiller are required for FG-4. Also, 8m3/min, 30bar air compressor, and 2 sets of 5HP chiller are required for FG-6, and 10m3/min, 30bar air compressor, and 2 sets of 5HP chiller are required for FG-8.

We don't require a low-pressure air compressor because our blowing machine is servo operated.

6. Can you tell me how your blowing machine saves energy?

Our blowing machine is equipped with a very compact heating oven, and the heating head in the oven has been reduced to 38.1mm. Which allows us to save a significant amount of energy.

Furthermore, as stated earlier, because our blower is servo driven, we do not require a low-pressure compressor, allowing us to save even greater amount of energy.

7. How can I avoid the neck becoming soft during the heating process?

The bottleneck has already been provided with fan cooling. With this, you wont run into any problem of your bottle neck being soft in the process of heating.

8. How long do you think you'll need to change the mold?

We have simplified the mold area and made it simple to replace the mold it takes our engineers 17 minutes to change the mold. However, an untrained engineer may take 20-30 minutes. Despite the fact that we are half the time as other suppliers.

9. How does your cam connection system benefit you?

The cam connection system is beneficial to us because the cam linking system is controlled by a single servo motor.

We can guarantee that different activities such as mold opening, mold closing, bottom mold raising, and bottle sealing may be completed in a single movement, which ultimately reduces the blowing circle.

10. Can you tell me how your mold differs from others?

Our mold has a connected structure, which allows for high precision treatment and quick changes.

The material used is aluminum , which has the advantages of quick cooling, light weight, and ease of disassembly.

The mold's surface has been anodized oxidatoin treated, which makes it more robust and extends its service life.

11. What are the bottle sizes that the FG series blowing machine can handle?

Want more information on water bottle blowing machine? Feel free to contact us.

The FG series can handle 100ml to 2L, depending on the neck finish you choose.

12. Why is this machine's power so low, and is it enough to produce such high speeds and well-shaped bottles?

We  have updated the heating zone and reduced the distance between preforms to enable for more obs to be heated at the same time, increasing heating efficiency. Yes, achieving such speed and well-shaped bottles is more than enough.

13. What is the total number of servos? What happened to them?

Categorically, there are three servo motors: one for preform pitch change.

While the second one is for preform-taken-into-mold movement (this servo is synchronized with bottle-take-out mold movement).  And finally, the third, and  the largest, is the mold close and open servo.

14. What is the maximum speed that your machine can achieve?

We primarily use three models. In a series, there are four cavities, six cavities, and eight cavities, with capacities ranging from to BPH.

Blow molding machine common problems and ...

Blow molding machines play an important role in the production of plastic products, especially containers and packaging materials. However, like all industrial equipment, blow molding machines may encounter various problems during operation. Understanding these common problems and their maintenance measures is crucial to ensuring stable operation and extending the service life of the equipment.

Frequently asked questions and solutions

1. The plastic melt has uneven color or impurities

Reason: Impure raw materials, uneven heating temperature or too high temperature.

Maintenance: Clean the barrel and screw regularly to ensure the use of pure raw materials and adjust the heating temperature.

2. The wall thickness of the product is uneven

Cause: Improper mold temperature control, mold misalignment or uneven air blowing.

Maintenance: Check and adjust the die temperature, ensure the mold is aligned, and adjust the blowing pressure and time.

3. The product shrinks or deforms

Reason: uneven cooling or premature demoulding.

Maintenance: Optimize the cooling system to ensure uniform cooling and adjust the demoulding time.

4. Low production efficiency

Reason: The equipment is aging and the parameter settings are not optimized.

Maintenance: Regularly replace aging parts and optimize production parameters.

Routine maintenance measures

1. Cleaning and maintenance

Regularly clean the outside of the machine and the working area to ensure that the screw, barrel and inside of the mold are clean to avoid residues of raw materials and colorants.

2. Lubrication

Regularly inspect and lubricate moving parts such as guide rails, bearings, etc. to reduce wear and failure.

3. Check fasteners

Regularly check whether screws and other fasteners are loose and tighten them appropriately to prevent loosening and damage of components due to vibration.

4. Temperature control

Monitor the heating system and cooling system to ensure that the temperature is controlled within a reasonable range to avoid product quality problems caused by too high or too low temperatures.

5. Check electrical systems regularly

Check electrical wiring and components to ensure there is no wear and damage, preventing malfunctions and potential safety risks.

By performing these routine maintenance measures, the stability and production efficiency of the blow molding machine can be significantly improved, downtime reduced, and equipment service life extended. Regular professional inspections and maintenance are also key to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of your equipment.
