The temperature range of hot-dip galvanizing is usually controlled between 420℃ and 500℃, and the optimal temperature range is 450℃ to 480℃. This temperature range ensures that the zinc layer is evenly coated on the surface of the steel and provides good anti-corrosion effect.
Hot-dip galvanizing, also known as hot-dip galvanizing or hot-dip galvanizing, is an anti-corrosion process widely used in steel structures. In this process, temperature is a crucial parameter. So, what is the temperature range of hot-dip galvanizing?

I. Hot-dip galvanizing temperature range
The temperature range of hot-dip galvanizing is usually controlled between 420℃ and 500℃. In this temperature range, the zinc liquid has good fluidity and can ensure that the zinc layer is evenly coated on the surface of the steel. However, in actual operation, people prefer to control the temperature between 450℃ and 480℃ because this is the temperature range for obtaining the best galvanizing effect.

II. The influence of temperature on hot-dip galvanizing
The influence of temperature on hot-dip galvanizing is mainly reflected in the formation and quality of the zinc layer. At a suitable temperature, the zinc liquid can fully penetrate the surface of the steel to form a uniform and dense zinc-iron alloy layer and a pure zinc layer. This two-layer structure can effectively prevent the steel from being corroded and extend its service life.

If the temperature is too low, the fluidity of the zinc liquid will be affected, which may lead to uneven zinc coating or defects such as hollowing. This will not only reduce the corrosion resistance of the galvanized parts, but also affect their appearance and use effect.

On the contrary, if the temperature is too high, although the fluidity of the zinc liquid will increase, the excessive temperature will accelerate the oxidation and thermal decomposition process on the surface of the steel. This will lead to an increase in impurities in the galvanized layer, reducing its purity and corrosion resistance. At the same time, high temperature may also cause excessive volatilization of the zinc liquid, resulting in waste of resources and environmental pollution.

III. Recommendations for optimal temperature control
In order to obtain the best galvanizing effect, it is recommended to control the temperature of hot-dip galvanizing between 450℃ and 480℃. Within this temperature range, the zinc liquid can maintain good fluidity and ensure that the zinc layer is evenly coated on the surface of the steel. At the same time, this temperature range can effectively avoid excessive oxidation and thermal decomposition of the steel surface, ensuring the quality and anti-corrosion performance of the galvanized layer.

In short, the temperature range of hot-dip galvanizing is one of the key factors to ensure the quality and effect of galvanizing. By reasonably controlling the temperature range between 450℃ and 480℃, a uniform and dense zinc layer structure can be obtained, thereby effectively improving the anti-corrosion performance of steel and extending its service life.
