Unexpectedly, replacing a well used, ~50 year old Sunbeam mixer with a new Cuisinart unit meant having to relearn how to use a basic stand mixer. Adding ingredients during processing was now an adventure forcing you to choose whether to start and stop to add ingredients or deal with the inevitable cleanup when you try to pour anything through the small space between the bowl rim and the moving blades. The pouring spout that came with the new mixer proved to be unhelpful...at best. So I envisioned making a simple metal pouring spout when I happened upon this item from New Metro on Amazon. I immediately recognized that it was just what was needed. It is well made and, although it was made for that 'other' mixer brand it works great on our unit.
