To be brief, I had the inlet water source at the same level and therefore at the same pressure level, and the output was the equivalent of having your garden hose on, and having to go about 1 inch out max before the stream went straight vertical. The inlet water source was a 60 gallon tank so the issue was not on the input end. The hope was to get this thing to pump about 10 feet up but it did not even make it up foot. If I said, I was disappointed in this pump, it would be an understatement. The reason I bought this was to fill the hot tub that was up on the second level and I bought this months before I got my hot tub so by the time I open this I missed my return window. Needless to say it did not work in. This was a complete waste of money. I have no grudge against this company. Had this pump works great I would give it a stellar review, but it did not unfortunately. If you use this for an RV, you’d probably be able to get out about enough water to maybe wash your hands or brush your teeth as far as flow. .
When the pressure available is insufficient it is necessary to install a water pressure booster pump. Water Pressure Booster Pumps that start and stop according to your water needs.
It replaces the traditional pressure switch/tank systems, offering more advantages such as:
The water pressure booster pump "FLUX BOOSTING SYSTEM" monitors the flow rate of the water running through and protects the pump against dangerous working conditions like running dry.
When a tap is opened and the water demand exceeds the minimum starting flow, FLUX starts the pump and keeps it running, delivering constant flow, even when the capacity request is low. FLUX BOOSTING SYSTEMS stops the pump when the
demand is below 0.5 gals/min. In case of a leak on the system (less than 0.5 gals/min), FLUX BOOSTING SYSTEM will never start the pump avoiding useless power consumption.
