The model 10-4 spark plasma sintering (SPS) system from Thermal Technology LLC introduces a revolutionary high-speed powder consolidation process.

SPS utilizes high-amperage pulsed DC current to activate the consolidation and reaction-sintering of materials. SPS can sinter metallic or ceramic powders, or both, in a few minutes to a bulk sample with almost full density (diameter=10/20/40 mm, thickness=3-6 mm). Ideal for fast manufacturing of ceramics, alloys, composites, etc.
