The tensile properties of the PE steel mesh skeleton pipe belong to the category of mechanical properties, and for the application of this kind of polymer, the mechanical properties are more important than other physical properties.

High molecular polymers have mechanical properties with a wide range of variability among all known materials. This is due to the fact that high polymers are composed of long chain molecules and have obvious relaxation characteristics in molecular motion. For example, high polymer materials have a relatively high elongation rate. Generally, the elongation rate at break of PE is 90%~950% (wherein the elongation rate of linear low-density polyethylene LLDPE is higher). Through a special manufacturing process, some materials The elongation can be above 1000%, and the elongation at break of ordinary polymer materials is more than 50%. Generally, heat shrinkable films and stretched films have higher requirements for the tensile properties of materials.

Specific to our actual PE steel wire mesh skeleton pipe, the general tensile performance is more than 200%. When used as a PE drag pipe, this data is ideal. On the other hand, it is not too good to have a good tensile performance. Good thing, because the stretch is too long, the ring stiffness of the corresponding PE pipe must be reduced, so reasonable product technical data is suitable for our daily applications.

Density is one of the important performance indicators of polyethylene, including high-density polyethylene (hdpe), medium-density polyethylene (mdpe), and low-density polyethylene (ldpe). The higher the density, the higher the relative hardness, softening temperature, and tensile strength, but the brittleness increases, the flexibility decreases, and the ability to resist cracking decreases. High-density polyethylene is generally used for water supply pipelines, and high-density and medium-density polyethylene are generally used for gas pipelines.

Electro-fusion connection is to insert both ends of the required connection into the sleeve embedded with the heating wire, energize the heating wire, heat the pipes and fittings to be connected to the melting temperature, and fix them until the interface is cooled, thereby forming a tight and firm joint. The hot-melt butt connection is to connect the two corresponding ends perpendicular to the pipe axis with the heating plate to the melting temperature, and the two melting ports are compressed and connected. Hot melt butt connection is suitable for pipes with a diameter greater than 90mm. Steel-plastic transition joints can be used when connecting the steel mesh frame PE composite pipe and the metal pipe.
