The assembly of the slurry pump bearing is very critical. This is the rotor part of the slurry pump operation. The quality of the bearing and whether the assembly process is qualified greatly affect the performance and energy consumption loss of the slurry pump. We should be as meticulous as possible and rely on experience to avoid slurry pump bearing failures, thereby ensuring the use of the slurry pump and ensuring the service life of the slurry pump. Therefore, the assembly and subsequent maintenance of slurry pump bearings are crucial. The following is a detailed introduction to the assembly and precautions of slurry pump bearings.

1. The slurry pump bearing assemblyslurry pump bearing assembly is divided into 7 steps.

First, cleaning of slurry pump bearings
A. Cleaning of processing surface
1. Remove rust marks, check marks, grease, etc. on the machined surfaces of all parts and apply engine oil.
2. Use professional tools to chamfer through holes, blind holes, and screw holes on the mating surface, and correct them along the plane to eliminate iron filings.
B. Cleaning of non-processed surfaces
1. Remove sand and rust from the casting parts of all parts of the bearing assembly to achieve a smooth surface.
2. Remove rust and dust from the oil storage room, scrub it clean with kerosene, and paint

Second, slurry pump bearing preparation
A. Inventory the parts required for bearing assembly assembly
B. Make preparations and make adjustment pads

Third, slurry pump bearing assembly, insert the bearing onto the shaft
A. Apply oil and clear oil to the corrected shaft bearing.
B. Install the grease retaining ring and press the flange surface of the grease retaining ring against the shaft shoulder.
C. The inner ring of the bearing is heated and installed on the shaft, and the big end of the inner ring is used to hold the grease retaining ring.
Requirements when heating the bearing: Use engine oil or a heater to control the temperature below 120°C. Install the heated bearing inner sleeve onto the shaft. The inner ring of the bearing should be close to the butter retaining ring until the butter retaining ring does not move after the bearing cools.

Fourth, install the bearing outer ring at the impeller end into the bearing body
A. Apply engine oil to the cavity at one end of the bearing body
B. Carefully tap the outer ring of the bearing toward one end of the bearing body until it is slightly lower than the end face of the bearing body.
C. Install the bearing end cover and a gasket into the bearing body, and screw on the bearing end cover screw. Tighten one end cover screw evenly, and the end cover will push the bearing outer ring to the correct position.
D. Apply a certain amount of grease according to regulations
E. Grease is manually added to the tapered roller bearing to smooth the inner ring, the cavity between the roller and the cage, and the remaining grease is spread between the bearing and the butter retaining ring.
F. Install the threaded end of the shaft into the bearing body, and press the other bearing jacket into the bearing body.
G. While slowly rotating the shaft, gradually tighten the screws of the bearing end cover until the bearing outer ring is correctly pushed onto the bearing inner ring.

Fifth, adjust the bearing clearances one by one according to technical standards.

Sixth, install maze rings and maze sets
A. Insert the labyrinth ring into the groove of the labyrinth ring, assemble two labyrinth rings, apply bearing grease, and arrange the gaps in the labyrinth ring relative to each other in diameter.
B. Fit the labyrinth sleeve onto the shaft and push it into the end cover until the labyrinth sleeve presses against the end face of the bearing inner sleeve.

Seventh, install the inch nut on the driving end, tighten the labyrinth sleeve, and then install the oil cup and plug.
