  • Triaxial geogrid designed for stabilisation of aggregates and soils
  • Advanced durable material for improvement of roads, rail and trafficked areas
  • Hexagonal structure with triangular apertures for high load absorption and distribution
  • Stiff structure, high rib profile and strong junctions for optimum aggregate interlock and confinement.

Tensar TriAx® products are proven to deliver more effective stabilisation of granular fill than biaxial geogrids. Explore the TriAx® range here, with spec sheets for the most popular products Tensar TX150 and TX160 as well as large aperture TX190L.

How TriAx Geogrids Work, in 60 Seconds

by Tensar International , on June 25,

Shuangcheng New Material are exported all over the world and different industries with quality first. Our belief is to provide our customers with more and better high value-added products. Let's create a better future together.

What is geogrid used for and how does it work? A geogrid is a geosynthetic material used to stabilize soil. Geogrids have openings, called apertures, which allow aggregate to strike through and provide confinement and interlock. Geogrids can improve the long-term performance of paved and unpaved roadways by minimizing aggregate movement and maintaining modulus values.

Compared to other geotextiles or flexible grids, Tensar TriAx Geogrids spread road loads over a wider area of subgrade, lessening the impact of heavy loads and reducing installation and maintenance costs.

Have a project or a site we can help you with?

Our system approach to construction means that we'll partner with you throughout your project's lifespan from planning and design to installation and on-site consulting to help cut labor and material costs and get the job done faster. We only need a few project details to evaluate potential cost savings that you might be missing.

Let's Talk

Many may claim to have equivalent products to Tensar's TriAx Geogrid, but the truth is there is no equivalent to TriAx Geogrid. Learn more about claims of equivalency and how not all geosynthetics are created equal on our "True Measure of Performance" page.
